The Polymer Engineering department of the college is unique in the field of Polymer science and technology education in the country. The B.Tech. Polymer Engineering course was initiated for the requirements of the industrial sector giving equal emphasis for the study of rubber and plastic. The department library is well stacked with books, periodicals and recent publications in various areas of Polymer Engineering.

Polymer Engineering is a field that is growing every moment and has greater scope in future.  The students are also professionally trained through in-plant training in various industries in and out of the state, thereby nourishing themselves with the skill and expertise.
